25 May 2026 | Cambridge Room at House of Blues
Dallas, TX
On Memorial Day, Arankai brought his first solo tour, The Portrait, to the House of Blues in Dallas. Opening acts Big Story and Summer Hoop delivered energetic sets worthy of recognition in their own right. Although the evening’s sound mix occasionally allowed the heavy bass to overpower the vocals, both groups maintained audience engagement through confident stage presence and strong musicianship.
Buffalo_Farm took the stage to an enthusiastic reception, quickly establishing a connection with the crowd. Their blend of trap metal created a lively atmosphere, and the band’s chemistry was evident throughout the set. Audience participation peaked during “You_used_to_be_beautiful,” with fans singing along from the barricade to the back of the venue.
By the time Arankai appeared, anticipation had reached its highest point of the evening. Performing key songs from The Portrait, he demonstrated both confidence and command as a solo headliner. The audience responded enthusiastically throughout the set, particularly during “Conquer,” which drew one of the loudest reactions of the night. The performance served as a fitting showcase for Arankai’s ability to connect with listeners while carrying the energy of a headlining tour.
Despite occasional issues with the vocal mix, the evening successfully highlighted the strengths of each performer. From the energetic opening sets to Arankai’s commanding headlining performance, The Portrait tour made a memorable stop in Dallas and offered a promising glimpse into the future of Arankai’s career.
